The Denver Broncos signed wide receiver Corey "Philly" Brown on Friday.
Brown, entering his fourth year in the NFL, will compete for a spot on the back end of the receiving corps. The Broncos had openings there after placing former third-round pick Carlos Henderson and undrafted rookie Jimmy Williams on the did not report list.
In three seasons with the Carolina Panthers from 2014 to 2016, Brown totaled 79 receptions for 1,019 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed 16 times for 139 yards, and added 15 catches for 215 yards with one touchdown in five postseason appearances.
