ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos signed former Seahawks defensive lineman Ahtyba Rubin on Friday to a one-year deal as they continue to make moves along the defensive line.
Denver placed defensive end Jared Crick (back) on injured reserve in a corresponding roster move.
Crick injured his back during training camp and missed the Broncos’ Week 1 game against the Chargers. The 28-year-old defensive end was a limited participant in the Broncos’ Wednesday practice, but he did not practice Thursday. On Friday, the Broncos decided to place Crick on IR.
In the wake of that move, Rubin gives the Broncos depth along the defensive line ahead of their Sunday game against the Cowboys.
