The Denver Broncos lost one of their best offensive lineman against the Los Angeles Rams when Ronald Leary tore his Achilles’ tendon while blocking Aaron Donald. To compensate the loss, they signed center/guard Nico Falah off the New York Jets practice squad on Monday.
Falah, a 6’4” 300 pound lineman, is an undrafted rookie out of USC who was a 26-game starter at center for them. Since coming out, he has spent time with both the Tennessee Titans and Jets before the Broncos signed him onto their active roster.
Losing Leary will likely be a major blow to the Broncos offensive line, but it held up well against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football last week.
