The Broncos on Thursday signed former Colorado State offensive lineman Sam Carlson and waived receiver Marlon Brown, with an injury designation.
Carlson, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound rookie, signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent in May, but was waived in late July. A starter for 26 out of 28 games for the Rams, Carlson played guard, tackle, center and helped CSU’s offense average 481 yards and 417 yards per game in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
The Wellington native can contribute to a Broncos offensive line that has dealt with multiple injuries only a week into training camp.
