ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – The NFL draft is often more about pro potential than collegiate production and the Denver Broncos decided to put that to the test in the second round when they selected Georgia Tech defensive tackle Adam Gotsis with the 63rd pick overall.
Gotsis is a former Australian Rules Football player who played four seasons at Georgia Tech and made 38 starts in his career at the school.
My take: The 6-foot-4 ½-inch, 287-pound player moves like a much smaller man. He’s played nose tackle at times in the Georgia Tech defense and will be a project for the Broncos.
