The Denver Broncos traded away their fifth round pick and their Mr. Irrelevant pick (No. 253) with the Tennessee Titans. In return, they got this draft pick and the Titans’ sixth round pick in 2017.
And with this pick, the Denver Broncos selected Andy Janovich, who is a fullback out of Nebraska. It is odd to see full backs in the NFL now and days, but with Kubiak running the zone blocking scheme, it makes all of the sense in the world.
He is a former wrestler at Nebraska and has won two state wrestling titles. He played running back and linebacker as well.
