In the secondary’s most high-stakes challenge yet, Broncos’ safety Justin Simmons sees an opportunity.
Against Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and one of the league’s best passing attacks on Sunday, Simmons believes the defense can contain the trio of wideouts Jamaar Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd.
“Joe’s has looked great this year,” Simmons said. “He’s leading an explosive offense, both in the run and the pass, and those (wideouts) are talented across the board. But I’m excited for us as a defense — and we’ve been playing really good defense across the last few weeks — because this is going to be a real test.
