Good Morning Broncos Country! I hope you had a fun and safe Independence Day.
This morning, let’s talk about the improvement, at least on paper, of the Denver Broncos run defense. Last season, this unit was gashed throughout the season and it really hurt them as they attempted to make a postseason push. While the Broncos did not make too many splashy offseason moves, they did make a few additions that should really help their run defense this upcoming season.
One of their more underrated additions was signing former Saints defensive lineman, Malcolm Roach. The 26-year-old defensive lineman was one of the better-run defenders in the league last season according to Pro Football Focus and should compete for the starting nose tackle position.
