The University of Colorado alum Will Sherman started his off his career with the New England Patriots when he was drafted by them in the sixth-round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He would be waived and signed to their practice squad in August of 2021. After being signed to a futures contract by New England in January of 2022, he would be cut by them later that year in August.
During his time in New England he would only see the field a handful of times in the regular season, and it would only be on special teams.
