The big guard from Wichita, Kansas was signed by the Denver Broncos in 2023 to a four-year, $51.1 million contract and was one of the two big investments made to the offensive line. But like Mike McGlinchey, I think it’s safe to say that Powers did not play up to his contract. I’m not saying that he wasn’t good though. I think he was mostly good throughout the season and really only had one bad game, that being Monday Night Football against the Bills. I do think that he was expected to be better though. It’s a very realistic possibility for him to play up to or beyond expectations this season.
