Broncos roster review: Defensive lineman Zach Allen

Instead of opting to keep Dre’Mont Jones long-term, the Denver Broncos let him test the market and he signed with the Seattle Seahawks in free agency. With the hiring of Vance Joseph as their defensive coordinator, former Boston College product Zach Allen seemed like a likely replacement.

Allen was quickly brought into the fold as a highlight member of Denver’s free agency class last offseason. He signed a 3-year deal with $47.5 million dollars. A large investment and sign that the Broncos feel good about his ability to continue to progress and become a top-flight defensive end in their 3-4 defense.
