Broncos roster moves: Team signs Richard Gordon

When the Denver Broncos released James Casey to make room for Derek Wolfe, the versatility of Casey left as well. He would line up in the full back position. However, it appears that the Broncos have found another “James Casey” in regards to those terms.

The Denver Broncos announced on Wednesday that they have signed free agent tight end Richard Gordon. The versatile tight end has played in 34 games with five starts.

In order to make room for Gordon, the Broncos have decided to waive tight end Mitchell Henry, whom was on the active roster but was a gameday inactive for each game except for last week against the Raiders.
