Noah Fant bulldozed past three Browns defenders before his path to the end zone was clear of all defenders and all doubt.
The rookie tight end caught a shallow cross Sunday, and his 6-foot-4 and 249-pound frame became impossible to slow down. He brushed off the arm tackles of safety Jermaine Whitehead, cornerback Greedy Williams and linebacker Adarius Taylor before finding daylight. He went untouched down the sideline the remainder of his 75-yard catch-and-run.
The rookie capped the touchdown with an emphatic helmet removal and scream.
“It was a super-special moment with my teammates,” Fant said, “being able to celebrate on the sideline enjoying it with the fans.
