Broncos’ right tackle Ja’Wuan James will miss “at least a couple of weeks” due to a left knee injury, coach Vic Fangio said Wednesday.
James was injured early in Monday night’s game at Oakland.
James signed a four-year, $51 million contract during the offseason to anchor the right side of the line. Without James, the Broncos will move Elijah Wilkinson to right tackle.
Denver faces Chicago and its fierce pass rush, led by linebacker Khalil Mack, on Sunday.
In other injury news, Fangio said inside linebacker Todd Davis will practice on a limited basis.
