Broncos right tackle Bobby Massie accomplishing goal of not hearing “my name called” on Sundays

Broncos right tackle Bobby Massie wasn’t sure who was going to be penalized, but was absolutely sure somebody would.

In last week’s loss at Cleveland, Massie was lined up opposite Jadeveon Clowney.

“He jumped and then I jumped,” Massie said. “I thought they were going to blow it (dead), but it kept going.”

Clowney used his head-start on the snap to share a sack of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater with Myles Garrett.

Remove that half-sack from his ledger and the 32-year-old Massie has played relatively consistently through seven games. He hasn’t missed an offensive snap and has no penalties.
