Broncos report card and game balls from Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs

Offense — C

The run game didn’t miss a stride without Royce Freeman (ankle). The Broncos rushed 30 times for 189 yards and Devonte Booker (78 yards) and Phillip Lindsay (95) were consistently effective. Quarterback Case Keenum completed 23 of 34 passes and was able to get out of the pocket to extend a few plays. The offensive line had a bad day in pass protection. Keenum was sacked five times and right tackle Billy Turner in particular struggled protecting the edge. Courtland Sutton had a 42-yard catch — he would be the primary beneficiary if Demaryius Thomas is traded by Tuesday.
