ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — C.J. Anderson, one of the Broncos’ most successful undrafted free-agent finds in recent years, has been released, the Broncos announced Monday.
“Over the last five years, C.J. developed from an undrafted player into an important member of our team,” President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway said. “We appreciate all he did as a Bronco, especially during our Super Bowl season, and thank him for his many contributions on and off the field.”
Anderson, who in 2017 became the Broncos’ first 1,000-yard rusher since 2013, provided plenty of highlights during his time in Denver.
