The Denver Broncos have released veteran RB Bernard Pierce on Monday, according to Mike Klis.
Pierce, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2012. He spent three years in Baltimore before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Jaguars.
The Jets just signed Pierce to a contract back in August but he was later placed on injured reserve. Pierce was eventually cut loose with an injury settlement but signed a future/reserve contract with the Broncos this past January.
Pierce’s 2015 season was cut short after he was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a calf injury.
