The Broncos released defensive tackle Marvin Austin on Tuesday, two months after he was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Austin signed a two-year, $1.23 million contract with the Broncos in 2014 and finished with 12 tackles in 15 games after a back injury the year prior nearly ended his career.
Austin struggled through the Broncos’ voluntary workouts this past summer though, and didn’t practice since Aug. 3 because of a groin injury and conditioning issues.
