The Broncos on Monday announced they re-signed wide receiver Marlon Brown and waived cornerback Taurean Nixon.
Brown was first signed by the Broncos before the start of training camp but was waived nearly a week later with a back injury. Brown played three seasons with the Ravens, including 2014 under Gary Kubiak, when he was Baltimore’s offensive coordinator. In 38 games (15 starts), Brown recorded 87 receptions for 891 yards and seven touchdowns.
Nixon, a second-year cornerback who was drafted in the seventh round (No. 251) by the Broncos in 2015, spent his first regular season on the practice squad.
