The Denver Broncos re-signed tight end Adam Trautman to a two-year contract on Wednesday, the team announced.
Trautman, who was acquired in a trade with the New Orleans Saints during the 2023 draft, provided a quality sounding board in the locker room as the Broncos adjusted to coach Sean Payton's playbook.
Trautman, 27, had publicly said after the trade that he was frustrated by his role in the Saints' offense during the 2022 season -- the season after Payton had stepped away from coaching in New Orleans.
