For even more depth on the line, the Broncos re-signed veteran defensive end Billy Winn on Wednesday, according to an NFL source.
Winn joined the Broncos on a one-year contract last August when former lineman Phil Taylor was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. Winn played in all 16 games (two starts) last season and finished with 19 tackles and one fumble recovery.
The five-year veteran spent the first three seasons of his career in Cleveland after being selected by the Browns in the sixth round of the 2012 draft. He was traded to Indianapolis before the 2015 season and played 12 games for the Colts before landing on injured reserve.
