EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie was placed on a backboard by medical personnel and taken to the team's locker room on a cart at the start of the second quarter of Sunday's game against the New York Jets game in MetLife Stadium.

On a reception for minus-4 yards on the Broncos' last play of the first quarter, Jets linebacker Quincy Williams tackled Badie from behind as Williams' helmet struck Badie in the lower back during the play.

Badie walked to the bench after the play, holding his hand against his back.
