Darian Stewart, a safety who had played for Gary Kubiak in Baltimore in 2014, signed with the Broncos last March at a bargain rate of $4.25 million over two years.
“I feel like I’m going to be the final piece to the puzzle,” Stewart told The Denver Post then.
