ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Broncos clinched their third consecutive non-winning season and almost surely their fourth consecutive year out of the playoffs with a dismal 20-3 loss here Sunday to Buffalo.
The Broncos (3-8) were held without a touchdown for the first time since a December 2017 loss at Miami.
Their defense, so good against the run the past six weeks, was gashed for 246 yards by the Bills. Their offense did not run a snap in the red zone and gained only 134 yards.
All that remains for the Broncos is figuring out when rookie quarterback Drew Lock will take over the offense.
