Mike Klis reports that the Broncos have promoted TE Austin Traylor from their practice squad to the active roster and waived TE A.J. Derby to make room for him.

The Broncos waived Derby with an injury designation due to a shoulder injury and will revert to their injured reserve once he clears waivers.

Traylor, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin. He was unfortunately waived during the team’s final roster cuts before later being added to their practice squad.
