The Broncos promoted nose tackle Kyle Peko to the active roster, according to an NFL source, filling the spot that opened when cornerback Lorenzo Doss was waived earlier in the week.
Peko, an undrafted player of Oregon State, has bounced on and off the Broncos’ active roster and practice squad since first signing with the team in 2016. Peko has played in one game this season, against Dallas in Week 2, and was in for seven defensive snaps and one special-teams play.
The Broncos on Thursday waived Doss, a former fifth-round pick, in part because he was late to meetings, according to another source.
