The Denver Broncos have done a great job this season of identifying unheralded prospects or castoffs from other teams that fit their system and develop very quickly.
One example of that is cornerback Michael Hunter, who had been developing with the New York Giants prior to coming to the Denver Broncos’ practice squad just a couple of weeks ago. Hunter was being pursued by a number of other teams outside of Denver, so the Broncos took action.
With Shane Ray heading to injured reserve after another procedure on his wrist, the Broncos promoted Hunter to their active roster.
