ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Before Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller adjourned himself from the 2017 season, he said he would “always enjoy’’ a Pro Bowl appearance, even as he added the only downside of a trip to the NFL’s all-star game was it meant your team wasn’t in the Super Bowl.
“And we want to get back to that level,’’ Miller said. "So, I like the Pro Bowl, but I like the other game better.''
But the Broncos' two Pro Bowl selections -- Miller and cornerback Aqib Talib -- once again tried to explain this week what went wrong in the team’s 5-11 finish.
