Broncos president/CEO Joe Ellis said Thursday the plan remains for Brittany Bowlen to re-join the team “sometime late this year or right after the season ends.”
The 29-year old Bowlen, one of the late Pat Bowlen’s seven children, expressed interest in late October in succeeding her father as the Broncos’ controlling owner. In June 2018, Bowlen’s second-oldest child, Beth Wallace, said she wanted to take on the role.
Brittany Bowlen currently works in Denver at McKinsey & Co.
“I’m going to meet with her next week and go over some elements of her job description and she has some unfinished work that she needs to take care of at McKinsey,” Ellis said in an interview with The Denver Post before the Broncos’ first training camp practice Thursday.
