It’s good to be quarterback Drew Lock.
He ended last season knowing Pro Bowl receiver Courtland Sutton, off a 1,011-yard breakout season, would return. Then Lock saw the Broncos use their first two picks this past spring on receivers for the first time in franchise history, adding Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler.
But as Jeudy and Hamler work their way into the NFL game, the Lock-Sutton combination will be critical. Sutton caught 72 passes (six touchdowns); the next-closest receiver was Emmanuel Sanders (30), and he was traded at midseason.
