ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — As the start of free agency nears, the Broncos issued tenders to several key players on their current roster.
Restricted free agents Matt Paradis and Shaquil Barrett each received a second-round tender, which would require other teams to forfeit a second-round pick to the Broncos if they offer a contract to either player and Denver chooses not to match.
Paradis has played every offensive snap over the previous three years and is a key piece of Denver’s offensive line. Barrett, who started nine games in 2017, recorded four sacks and two forced fumbles last season.
