The Broncos will have a new voice leading their players out of the south end zone to wildly cheering home fans this season as longtime public address announcer Alan Roach revealed his exit Monday morning to his home state of Minnesota, where he will become the Vikings’ public address announcer.
Roach spent 16 years as the Broncos’ PA announcer. He was known for his deep, smooth voice, reaching 77,000 fans before every home game.
“I’ve never experienced anywhere else in the world, a group of fans as passionate as those who follow the Denver Broncos,” Roach wrote on his website.
