Regardless of whether the Broncos are playing out the string in December or contending for a playoff berth, outside linebacker Von Miller wants to be a part of it if his surgically-repaired ankle cooperates.
Miller underwent his operation Sept. 11 to repair a dislocated peroneal tendon and was placed on injured reserve. But he is eligible to be reactivated when healthy.
“I’m optimistic,” he said in a phone interview with The Denver Post on Wednesday to promote his partnership with USAA. “I’ve been through the ACL surgery (in 2013) and this rehab is nothing like that rehab.
