The Denver Broncos began the final day of the 2017 draft by dealing one of their own.
The team traded running back Kapri Bibbs and their fifth-round draft pick (No. 177) to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a 2018 fourth-round pick, an NFL source confirmed.
The Broncos entered the 2017 draft with 10 picks, with six remaining Saturday. Denver’s fifth-round pick was one of their four compensatory picks. This year is the first in which teams can trade compensatory selections.
ESPN was the first to report the trade.
