The Broncos received a mixed bag of injury news before practice Wednesday: Right tackle Ja’Wuan James is out indefinitely and inside linebacker Todd Davis could be back in.
James (knee) was injured early in Monday’s loss at Oakland.
“He’ll miss a couple weeks,” coach Vic Fangio said. “From there, we’ll see.”
Fangio would not reveal the nature/seriousness of James’ injury.
“He tweaked his knee; sprained knee,” he said. “That could mean a lot of things.”
What it means Sunday against the Chicago Bears is Elijah Wilkinson will make his first career regular-season start at right tackle.
