Broncos right tackle Billy Turner will miss at least four games due to the knee injury he suffered against Tennessee on Sunday and is being placed on short-term injured reserve, per the NFL’s transaction wire.
Turner, who missed the first five games of the season as he rehabilitated from offseason knee surgery, will be eligible to return Week 15 at the earliest.
It is one of several roster transactions the Broncos made Tuesday. Also, on the offensive line, Tom Compton is being activated from the physically unable-to-perform list. He had been designated to return to practice in recent weeks and now will be added to the 53-man roster.
