Broncos offensive line struggles, mistake-prone offense at center of two-game losing streak

There was more than enough blame to go around for the Broncos offensive struggles in Thursday night’s 21-13 loss to the Chargers.

For the second game in five days, Denver’s offense was mistake-prone, stagnant and predictable. The offensive line was at the center of struggles, failing to clear holes in the running game, racking up penalties and letting a Chargers defense that came into the game in the bottom 10 across the NFL in yards and points allowed per game dominate.

“You have to put them in those situations in practice,” Broncos interim coach Joe DeCamillis said Friday.
