KANSAS CITY, MO. — For Noah Fant, the Broncos’ two blowout losses to the Chiefs this season have brought the biggest tests of his rookie season.
In October, Fant dropped three passes against Kansas City at Mile High in what the tight end called “the worst game I’ve ever played”. Fant overcame that confidence hurdle, posting a couple 100-yard receiving games since then before facing what became his biggest physical test on Sunday.
In the Broncos’ 23-3 loss at Arrowhead Stadium, Fant — limited in practice last week due to hip-and-foot injuries suffered against Houston — provided one of Denver’s few bright spots with two catches for 56 yards.
