The Broncos’ immediate fix at quarterback arrives next season in veteran Joe Flacco, whom the team traded for last week.
But does a long-term answer under center exist in the 2019 NFL draft?
ESPN analyst Mel Kiper addressed that topic Tuesday during a media teleconference call in addition to potential quarterback options should Denver trade back from its No. 10 overall pick — where Kiper currently has the Broncos taking LSU cornerback Greedy Williams.
However, Kiper also projects four quarterbacks will be taken in the first round, including a pair of passers who might still be available should the Broncos slide back in the first: Missouri’s Drew Lock and Duke’s Daniel Jones.
