Following practice Monday, Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Kevin Hogan will start at quarterback in Thursday’s Pro Football Hall of Fame game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Hogan, listed as second-team in the initial depth chart, started camp with the second team and has maintained an edge over rookie second-round pick Drew Lock.
Starting quarterback Joe Flacco will not play.
Hogan will see his first action in a Broncos uniform. He was acquired via waivers from Washington after the preseason was completed. He was the No. 3 quarterback until Chad Kelly was released in October following his arrest.
