ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos rounded out their defensive coaching staff on Tuesday with the addition of Johnnie Lynn as their assistant defensive backs coach.
Lynn brings 28 years of experience either as a player or a coach to the Broncos with his most recent stint being in Oakland with the Raiders as their defensive backs coach from 2012-2013. While in Oakland, Lynn’s secondary aided an Oakland defense that ranked in top-10 opponent three-and-outs (24.9 percent). After Lynn left the Raiders, he was succeeded by current Broncos Defensive Coordinator Joe Woods and current Defensive Backs Coach Marcus Robertson.
