Broncos move up five spots to No. 63 overall, draft Oklahoma WR Marvin Mims Jr.

Denver made a splash on Friday night, trading up five spots to draft Oklahoma wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. with the final pick of the second round in the NFL draft.

Mims, who was 5-foot-11 and 183 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine, ran 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

The Broncos moved up five spots to No. 63 overall and also got No. 183 overall from Detroit and sent back No. 68 and No. 138 the final pick of the second round. Over the past two seasons at Oklahoma, Mims caught 86 passes for 1,788 yards, an average of 20.
