Trevor Siemian won the starting QB job last year and to my knowledge, hasn’t lost it. Why does he have to compete for it again? John: You are correct. He won the competition handily and has not lost it, but the Broncos also drafted Paxton Lynch in the first round in 2016 and want to continue his development.
