The Denver Broncos announced a couple of roster changes on Thursday. They signed offensive lineman Jake Brendel and cornerback Trey Johnson. Cornerback Craig Mager was released.
Both Brendel and Johnson participated in the teams tryout invites during minicamp this week and impressed enough for the Broncos to bring them on to compete this offseason.
Brendel has appeared in 21 games in his four seasons at both center and guard for the Miami Dolphins. While Johnson is a second-year player who spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
