Broncos’ linebacker Von Miller brought Browns’ quarterback Baker Mayfield to the turf to end the third quarter Saturday to set the franchise record for career sacks (98).
Miller surpassed the mark set by set by Broncos’ Ring of Fame linebacker Simon Fletcher (1985-95; 97.5). The sack also moves Miller up to No. 33 on the NFL’s all-time list where he is now tied with former Colorado State and Steelers’ linebacker Joey Porter.
Miller, the Broncos’ No. 2 overall NFL draft pick in 2011, entered Week 15 with the most sacks of any player since he joined the league.
