According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post, Broncos S Justin Simmons is likely to placed on injured reserve at some point in the future with a sprained ankle that he suffered during the win over the Jets.
Simmons has done a pretty good job of filling in for T.J. Ward after the Broncos elected to cut Ward loose at the start of the season.
Simmons, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.
