Broncos likely to be without top WR Courtland Sutton vs. Chiefs: “It’s not looking good”

The Broncos appear set to hit for an inauspicious cycle at wide receiver.

Courtland Sutton, Denver’s No. 1 pass-catcher, is likely to miss Sunday’s game against Kansas City due to a hamstring injury he sustained late in the first half against Baltimore last Sunday, according to head coach Nathaniel Hackett.

“I would expect for us to be safe with that one because we don’t want a setback or anything like that,” Hackett said. “It’s not looking good for him for this weekend.”

Until Sutton dropped out of the game against the Ravens with the hamstring injury, he had been the only member of the Broncos’ top group of receivers to stay healthy all season.
