The NFL has come down on Denver Broncos safety Shiloh Keo for violating its substance-abuse policy, the league announced on Friday afternoon.
The verdict: two-game suspension.
Keo pled guilty to a misdemeanor driving under the influence charge last month stemming from an arrest in Idaho just a few days after the Broncos won the Super Bowl.
In exchange for his plea, Keo received one year of probation and a suspended license. He will be required to speak at 8 high schools and pay a $952.50 fine, as well.
While not a key contributor in the Broncos run to Super Bowl 50, Keo was solid, most-famously recovering an onside kick against the Patriots to secure the trip to the championship.
