Broncos defensive end Jurrell Casey is expected to miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a torn biceps tendon during the first series of Sunday’s loss to Tampa Bay, according to a league source.
Casey entered the game with an elbow contusion on the same arm that he injured in Week 2 against Pittsburgh.
Casey was able to return to the game and played 48 snaps.
Acquired from Tennessee for a seventh-round pick, Casey will join fellow defensive linemen DeMarcus Walker (calf) and Dre’Mont Jones (knee) on injured reserve, but the Broncos do think Walker and Jones will play later this year.
